OPENING PRAYER ——–Jean Rousseau

You have brought us, O God, to another Lord’s Day.

 Holy Lord, the God that hears our prayers, you have said that you will be present whenever two or three gather in your name. We welcome your presence and grace in our lives. We ask that you manifest your glory today and shine your light on us. Through your light, may we illuminate the lives of those around us. As we feel your presence in worship today, may our knowledge of your divine mysteries continue to grow and change our lives forever.

 We are privileged to worship you with our brothers and sisters in Christ. May we have unity of mind and heart as we open ourselves to the movement of your Holy Spirit. As your love grows within us, may we have rich fellowship with you and with one another

We pray in Jesus’ name, as we strive to walk the path of discipleship.

Amen.

PEOPLE’S PRAYERSMike Hamel

Oh Lord, we welcome Your Holy Spirit among us and we acknowledge that although we are many joined together here today, we are one in You. Teach us to proclaim the good news that Jesus saves. Help us to declare Your love and we pray that all who hear about You will come to know You because, “for God so loved the world that He gave his only Son, that whosoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life”. Please watch over all of the sick, hungry, and destitute, that they and all others who are looking for the truth will come to find it in you. You are never far from the hearts and minds of those that love you. Be with us always, and now we pray in the name of Jesus, the risen Christ who taught us how to pray.

The Lord’s Prayer —-UMH #895 (in unison)

Generous God,
here are our gifts of time;
here are our gifts of talents;
