Are you passionate about serving others? Do the stories about hunger in our community bother you?
Then, this may be the time for you to join us in this critical local mission.
Please mark your calendar and invite a friend or friends to join you and us in this exciting experience.
Date: September 15, 2018
Time: 9 am to 11 am.
Location: The Knights of Columbus
110 South Main Street, Garner, MA
The Gardner Chestnut Street UMC is helping the Ecumenical Community to sponsor and participating in a food packing event to feed the hungry in Gardner.
The goal is to package 10,000.00 meals. These meals are going to be split evenly between the Gardner Action Committee (CAC) and The Weekend Backpack program (this program services all the public schools in Gardner).
Volunteers are vital for this mission to be a success.
Who can volunteer? Anyone can sign up but bear in mind that some lifting may be required. Don’t let this hold you back. We will find you something to do.
Here is the website to sign up for this great cause.
If you would like to join our team from the Chestnut Street United Methodist Church, please leave us a note on our Facebook or email: firstname.lastname@example.org or use this Contact Form link to sign up to join our team.
The CSUMC Team Leader will contact you with more information. The cutoff day to sign up to join the United Methodist Team is September 7, 2018.
We hope that you will prayerfully consider joining us to serve the hungry in Gardner.
Together, we will do great things to serve God and our fellow-men.
